2nd family meeting

| 2nd meeting of the family association Guertzgen / coming on May 31st, 1998 in the forest hotel "Hohe Mark" in Wesel. 43 members participated this time in the family day. The Juergen Guertzgen manager could for the first time greet member of the family from the USA. Byron Lee Guertzgen, his wife Senda and daughter Amy had wagen the long trip over the "large pond" in order to arrive in the ring of the family after 92 years again. The grandfather of Byron had immigrated to United States of America in 1906 with his family (wife and 2 children). |

To the 3rd family day on May 1999 30th met itself in Wesel again 49 members of the family Guertzgen. Meeting place was the forest hotel "Hohe Mark" wonderfully been, as in the years in front of it, again. Juergen Guertzgen could the descendants of the Netherlands "van Gurtzgen Family" this time greet. | To the 4th family day of the family association Guertzgen / of descendant, the participants in May 2000 28th in the hotel met in the hotel - restaurant Weidenbrück in
Heimerzheim. The day was ended there with a visit of the "Guertzgens castle" in Klein -
Vernich. They had already arrived through it that some members of the family on Saturday, spent one already some cheerful hours before the actual meeting. |
5th family meeting

The 5th family day occurred at the 26th - in 27. May 2001 in
Esterwegen (Emsland). For the first time applied itself the the members of the family Guertzgen to their meeting on a weekend over 2 days
occurring every year up to now. Whether it still comes for further family meetings in future, it remains to
wait. The manager of the family association resigned for sanitary reasons. A successor for investigation
could not be found from the lines of the member of the family. |
